Product Update

Versatile Tanks has 3 main size tanks 

6700litre  - weighs 4 ton . Its external dimensions are 1800mm wide x 2100mm wide x 2100mm high

 11700 litre tank  - weighs 7.1 ton . External dimensions are 2400mm wide x 2400mm long x 2400mm high

25500 litre tank - weigh 11.5 ton. External dimensions are 2400mm wide x 2600mm high x 4400mm long

All the above tanks can have the height of the tanks shortened to suit site applications.

Concrete tanks can be used as underground tanks for on site detention purposes.

Tanks are strucutrally engineered to be used as retaining walls accessing the Australian standards Earth retaining strucutres

Versatile Tanks can be used underground applications we have engineered lids to take from 300mm of earth up to 1500mm.

We have internal pillars in our tanks to accomadate heavier load requirements such as water trucks driving over tank lid, semi trailors. etc  

All tanks are manufactured in a seamless vibrated mold in our factory, using HSC 50 mpa concrete

Structural steel is welded and suspended as a cage, the reo and deformed bars welded as per the Australian standards

High density concrete gives that added assurance  the concrete tanks are waterproof and structurally designed for the purpose of supporting weight over the tank  vertically and horizontally .

We have a team of engineers available to look at your ideas if you require structural chnages to our tanks.

Risers 300mm both light duty and heavy duty are available if you should require an accessible  inspection lid once you bury your underground concrete tank 

The versatile Tanks are designed to be interlinked side by side or end to end  should you want larger capacity.

Plumbing pvc sleeves built into the tank, upon order you can have them where you wish.

Our tanks comply with all the applicable and relevant Australian Standards. They are transportable by truck..

Every tank has 4 x 5 ton swift lift lugs on the long side of the tank for easy safe crane lifting into the prepared hole.

Tanks are Engineered, certified and supplied with  recommended installation guidelines designed by an engineer to prevent hydraulic uplift in wet saturated areas. 

Versatile Tanks unique manufacturing and design enables us to change our units to wine cellars, indestructible site sheds, underground bunkers,and  bunding sheds for chemical storage, magazines, oily water tanks, underground water tanks, on site detention tanks, stormwater retention tanks, list is endless.

Wine Cellars

Wine cellar ideal for above ground or inground. We can place the steel door frame wherever you like .(in the lid or in the walls)

Ideal to use as underground exchanges, wine cellars, workshops, security sheds, offices. Give us your idea and we will Endeavour to modify to suit your needs.  

If security is of paramount importance then the Versatile concrete shed may be the answer.

Should you need to bury the unit, we have the answer. Every unit we manufacture is engineered and seamless in design. 

Concrete in the wine cellar is HSC concrete 50mpa. Gives a added assurance the unit is waterproofed. We do offer a further internal coating should you require it for waterproofing.

Each unit has swift lift facilities built into the walls for easy lifting.

Our small unit weighs 4 ton and the larger unit 11.5 ton.

 Magazines

Our Concrete magazines  are:

Extremely durable and robust as they are made with 50 mpa vibrated concrete , fully sealed.

 They are relocatable if need be and have the specified approved 4 x 5ton swift lift lugs on either side of  unit

• Our units are fully designed for explosive housing and ideal as they are temperature controlled due to the concrete construction.
• As our units are manufactured in a seamless steel mold in our factory many modifications can be made to suit your needs.
• Walls of the magazine are 75mm thick, floor and ceiling 100mm and walls contain 6 structural 200 x 150 ribs. Entire unit is manufactured with 500mpa RL818 steel and N20 Bars in the ribs.
• This gives the unit strength should you wish to partially of fully bury the unit , this will enable the magazine to have an even better temperature  controlled environment..
• Units do have a structural overhead load rating of 5kpa.
• Magazines are fully waterproof  treated   with an agent
• Seamless in design so there is no joins in the concrete as they are made in a mold in our factory no opportunity for any expansion cracks as there is no joins.
• Fully ventilated as per the standards (vent can be raised should unit require dirt on lid)
• Doors made to AS2187 can be made up to 1500 wide for pallet access in larger unit.
• Large magazine weighs 11.5 ton, medium 7.1 ton and smaller unit 4 ton.
• Signage is included in price.
• Doors are sealed and painted with marine grade white paint.

The design has been involved with a  structural and civil engineer and qualified boiler maker in conjunction with experienced concreters.

Oily Water tanks, black water tanks and onsite detention tanks

All Versatile Tanks can be used as oily water tanks, placed under driveways for petroleum overflow, under gas lines for oily water, black water tanks for sewerage.. onsite detention tanks

Tanks used for exposure to toxic products, the internal tanks are lines with a megapoxy coating for added assurance.

Medium and larger tanks can have internal weirs placed in the tanks to divid the liquid.  

All tanks used for detention, oily water etc come with detention tanks unless specified not required.

Galvanised or welded stainless steel mesh can be installed inside all of the tanks fo usages such as detention tanks, stormwater, recycling of greywater etc.

Large PVC fittingsor cavity provisions can be cast into the walls and lids of the tanks.

All above changes are certified by our engineer.
